HISTORY OF "Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (2012 Video Game)"

"Assassin's Creed III: Liberation" is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Ubisoft. It was released in October 2012 as a spin-off title in the Assassin's Creed series, originally exclusive to the PlayStation Vita handheld gaming console. The game later received an HD remastered version for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC as part of the "Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection" in 2019.

The game is set in the same historical period as "Assassin's Creed III" and takes place during the American Revolution, but it follows a different protagonist and story. Players assume the role of Aveline de Grandpré, a French-African Assassin who fights against the Templars in New Orleans and other locations.

As Aveline, players explore an open-world environment set in 18th-century New Orleans and the surrounding Louisiana area. The game introduces new gameplay elements unique to the character, such as Aveline's ability to disguise herself as a slave, a lady, or an Assassin, allowing for varied approaches to missions and gameplay challenges.
